Through ISO 9001 we have committed to implement and develop a process based QMS that is focused on continuous improvement of our processes, people, infrastructure and products and the meeting of customer requirements “Right First Time” “Every Time”
Caparo Atlas Fastenings are approved to ISO 9001 through the BSI.
ISO TS 16949
Through ISO TS 16949 we have committed to the implementation of a QMS that sits side by side with the commitments of our Automotive OEM partners. Embracing the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949 provides for the addition of many class leading automotive tools for the development, introduction and verification of our products that meet the requirements of the automotive industry.
Caparo Atlas Fastenings are approved to ISO TS 16949 through the BSI.
ISO14001
Through the implementation of our Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ISO 14001 we demonstrate our commitment to understand the Impact that Caparo Atlas Fastenings has on the immediate environment and the environment of our neighbours.
Through the review of environmental aspects, legislation and codes of practice, we able to understand our impact on the environment and our obligations in reducing this impact, based on this understanding we are able to implement programmes to either control the impact or improve the effects of our environmental performance
As part of our commitment to the environment we are also active with our processing partners and actively seek development of environmental awareness within the supply chain.

Ford Q1
Ford Q1 is a supplier program that requires a supplier's facility achieves excellence in four critical areas:
- Capable systems
- Continuous improvement
- Ongoing performance
- Satisfied customers
The criteria that a supplier must meet to be certified include:
- ISO/TS 16949 Certification
- ISO 14001 Certification
- Self Measurement via QOS
- Performance Metrics via SIM
- Endorsements From Key Customers (Ford Internal - Quality, Logistics, Purchasing)
Benefits of Q1 include, preferred status with Ford Motor Company - Q1 companies are considered before non-Q1 companies for new sourcing, recognition - flying the Q1 flag and displaying the Q1 plaque demonstrate that a company stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the best suppliers in the world.
